Understand before coding
I ask about the real problem and the business context before opening the editor. Less rework for the whole team.

About me
Engineering combined with business insight.
I am passionate about solving real problems through technology. My focus is not limited to writing code, but to understanding an organisation's bottlenecks in order to turn them into competitive advantages through custom software and data analysis.
I work well inside a team: I review PRs with judgement, document the decisions that aren't obvious, and prefer raising a blocker early over showing up late with a surprise. I move comfortably between the data side and the product side, which usually saves the team a translation step.
Away from the terminal, I enjoy architectural photography and road cycling, activities that feed my eye for detail and my persistence.
